Its tomorrow!! My taxation issues mid-term test... I am so screwed.... tax is fun in a way... but at the same time it is one confusing subject..aih aih...

We are going to be tested on 5 chapters.... yes 5 chapters are there are so many things to remember lucky for me its an open book test... eh.... wait..... is open book that good? I don't think I even have the time to flip through ever single pages of the Australian Master Tax Guide (MTG). Which chapter am I in now??? Only in Chapter 4 Residency.... a really confusing topic.... gosh... and my worst topic si topic 5 which is on Capital Tax Gain fondly known as the CGT. I sucked at this topic period... what am I to do..... *cries*

Another thing is I would like to make a short correction. The catholic church (not the one one the hill top) was actually in Serian and not near Sri Aman.

Day Trip-Sri Aman

Well.... I have spend my holidays doing a few things. Basically I went to Unimas with David to see their student's artwork, coffee and Donut session with my bro Sam and a day trip to Sri Aman with again, bro Sam. Ha ha.

Well, due to the fact that my part-time job only earn me peanuts and I am still studying I can't afford any overseas holiday trip. I can't go to the US, come to think of it, I can't afford to go to KL for now. I don't have people sponsoring me to go to Bangkok, Thailand. Sighs.... how sad can I get... LOL... but a person like me... doesn't really care, so Sri Aman is as anything.

We started our journey around 10.30am and we went for breakfast first. After, breakfast we started our journey to Sri Aman. Sri Aman is in a division on its own and it is around 188km away for the city of Kuching. It takes roughly 3 hours to reach Sri Aman and another 3 hours back to Kuching.

Sri Aman is a small cowboy town, nothing much to do there but if you do go there it is the tidal bore that you should not miss! Sri Aman is famous for its tidal bore. Every now and then, there is this huge tidal bore and sweeps through the Batang Lupar River which passes through this town.

Basically, its a laid back town, relaxing. So... I will let the photos to do some talking...

New Bedsheets!

..............................................................................................................................................................................
Short Talk:
Having Holidays now... one week... ah...relaxation... WAIT! I have not touched my Taxation yet! arrggh! Back to books again... bleh!

..............................................................................................................................................................................

Ha....Ha.... He ...He... Ho... Ho.... I got new bed sheet and new pillowcase~ I am so happy! Well to be more precise, this is the first time ever I shopped for my own bedsheets. I don't know why I had the sudden urge to buy new bed sheets.

So the urge brought me into Aussino. Initially I was aiming at buying standard bed sheets which cost around RM69.90 but the thing is that I am using a single bed and for single bed package it comes with only one pillow case and the dang thing is that if I get the RM 69.90 bedsheets with patterns on it, it will be very hard to for me to find an extra pillow case to go with it! Yes! I am greedy I sleep with TWO pillows... I need one for hugging you know.

So, when I visited Aussino the second time. The store manager or assistant told me they are having offers now and its 50% of for one section of the bedsheets. As I browse through the choices I decided to settle down for the 100% pure cotton bedsheets with 260 thread counts. The original price of the bed sheet is RM 115.00 so after discount it is only RM 52.50!! Yahoo!!! I was overjoyed so I stared choosing the colour that I wanted which is Khaki. But dang! the Aussino branch in Spring did not have singles for the 100% cotton... sad... sad.... but fear not because they have another branch in Tun Jugah so the kind manager/ assistant called up the other branch and asked if they have it and lady luck seems to be with me that day because they still have a few left in the Tun Jugah branch.

So, after class I send my car for servicing and ask David to save me from boredom and we went down town to Tun Jugah. Alas, when we arrive in Aussino I straight away asked the sales assistant and she brought me to the shelf where they keep the 100% cotton single bed sheets. I also found out that they have more choices for pillow case in this branch so I took extra pillow cases with the same material as the bed sheet that I am getting and guess what! There is a 50% discount for the pillow case too!

Photobucket
My new bed sheet and pillow case... *loves*

Just in case, you guys are wondering why am I so picky with the colours is because I like my stuff to match and to look nice and also comfy! ha... ha!

Oh I was overjoyed so I took the items and paid it at the cashier and the total cost was RM85.00. So it wasn't that bad at all.

Now, I can't wait to use the new bed sheet! ha! ha!

So there goes, dwinz first time buying bed sheets for himself ... ha ha

P/s: Angel the bed sheet is for me NOT you la! Lol...you got the wrong idea about your birthday present! Lolx!

Yahoo! Donuts! Do-nuts!!!

...............................................................................................................................................................................
Short Talk:
Holidays for me! Wakakaka.... eh wait.... after the break I have assignments and exams... darn and my taxation facilitator ( what he calls himself), Nick told us that our exam will be extremely tough and we need to study hard for it... read the MTG ) Master Tax Guide.... and I still have MDM assignment to do.... Company Law to study....

*Poofs* there goes my holidays..... sighs....

..............................................................................................................................................................................

As all of you know... I dwinz is a donut freak.... yesh.... I luuuuuvvvvvv donuts... I am 'do'-'nuts'! get it? do-nuts? Lolx.... ok... fine I am really crazy.

Well, Since the opening of a few decent shopping malls in Kuching we have been seeing and influx of new retailers coming into Kuching. One of the most recent and upscale mall, named The Spring, which spelled heaven to me. Why? Well Spring is the premier lifestyle shopping mall in Kuching. It houses most of the international brands such as Esprit, Padini, Guess, G2000, Samsonite and many more.

To add in my love for this mall was the recently open donut shop called Big Apple donuts and Coffee. Yes! Yes! I am elated, finally a decent donut shop in Kuching... its like I am in a dream. So first was to taste the donuts!

Big A's donuts range

Earlier on in the morning, I heard that there was a long queue of people buying the donuts or more like trying out their luck for 1/2 dz of free donuts. So I went around 4 in the afternoon and to my surprise the queue was still quite long! I had to be in queue for 45 minutes just to get the donuts... yeah everyone in Kuching is in a donut craze now... I wonder how long would it last though. Believe it or not I went back again today! bought another 1/2 dz half of it given to cuzzie Sylvia (p/s: enjoy them cuzzie!) ha ha.

Anyway Big A is not bad at all, actually their donuts are quite good and the price is reasonable too! Their outlet design looks more or less like J.Co donuts and coffee in Pavillion KL and their donuts are comparable to J.Co too!

Bananarama.... I miss it!

The only sad thing is... they don't offer Banana rama down here in Kuching...sad.... but they have the mango tango though! he he.

So far I tried a few of the flavours and I thought chococino was good. Green teaser (Green tea) was not that bad either. The weirdest flavour I have seen is the Duren Duren... or Durian flavour donuts! LOL... YES! Durian flavoured!

Overall, I like Big A's donuts and of course I will be going back for more.... Cheers to Big A for opening in Kuching!

Hmm.... I wonder is J.Co thinking of coming into Kuching or not? Lolz

Mr. Sarcasm

..............................................................................................................................................................................
Short Talk:
One week of holiday for me next week.... hmmm... what should I do? Study tax? go Damai? Decisions....decisions....

..............................................................................................................................................................................

As mentioned in the topic.... SARCASM! yeah.... I just realized sometimes I am such a sarcastic asshole, I am soooo sarcastic at times that I myself could believe it!

Why suddenly this topic? Well it happened today... I was having Management Decision Making (MDM) test. I happened to be a wee bit late, so by the time I was in class the lecturer was distributing the test paper. A few other dudes came in later than me.

So while waiting for the lecturer to distribute the question paper... I realized that the dudes later than me got their question paper. In my head " Where the F**k is my question paper?!" Oh well.... as they say... patience is a virtue... so I waited.... and waited...

Suddenly, my wonderful lecturer announces. " OK, Students...please write down your name and ID number on the question paper!".

*Looks at my table....hmm.... looks up again.... feeling pissed.....*....

Suddenly, without knowing I called out really loud and this is what I said....

Me: SIR! I don't have my question paper... where should I write my name and ID number?

* My Lec.... face looking pissed came to me pass my question paper to me and walk off silently*

The consequences.... all the other students were bewildered with my action. All of them must be thinking... that kid got some guts man... or.... that is one crazy dude who does not know the word "DIE"... LOL...

Photobucket
this kid is nuts!

Sir... Don't fail meeeee....!! Soweee!! Please don't fail meeee... LOL.

I was quite surprise with what I said too....

yeah.... that is all...
