Mother' Day

THE FRAGRANCE OF LOVE

A mother is the greatest gift that a child could ever have from God. From the day a baby is born the mother provides it with undying love. No where in this world would a mother not love her own child.

On the 13th May 2007. Hope Of God Church came up with a new theme called "THE FRAGRANCE OF LOVE" indeed it is a mother's fragrance of love for her child and family. The college group decided to a a presentation on this very special day. We sang for all the mothers with the song title called "You Raise Me Up" by Josh Groban. The choir is formed by collaborating with the children's church very cute.

I hope the song we sang touch the mother's hearts. Even though...ahemz.... we sang out of tune at the last part for the first service but for the second service we improved. Come on la... its people's first attempt ok... nervous some more... we did try our best.

The Choir Group... but Wei Ta is not here... bugger.

To end this post I would like to give out this poem.

A mother casts her dreams into the sea;
We, the words sent bobbing towards the sun,
The eggs of stone, the shards of prophesy.

Because she must conclude her melody
And fall back to the sweet dark hush of One,

Hoping to cross that wild infinity

Outside the fiery circle of memory,
The howling surf, the incessant years undone …

And then dissolves into a tapestry,
Her rolling, helpless drift again begun,
The eggs of stone, the shards of prophesy

Afloat once more upon eternity,
Once more the alien fury, never done …
Again, again, her dreams into the sea,
The eggs of stone, the shards of prophesy!
