Assignment Marathon

My first paper is just a few days away... been doing revision...but still a bit blur...aiiks!

For the past 1 week, I have been rushing my macroeconomics assignment with my group members. This is by far our last assignment for the whole semester and indeed the most tiring of all the assignments that I had ever done. We took a week to gather information and compile it into a whole report.

My group members are also my adorable friends (Vivien, Siaw Chee and David) worked real hard for this assignment. I am very glad to have them as my group members. Although I think I did not contribute much except to turn their notes into a full report and giving opinions here and there, I have done virtually nothing. Yes, I sounded lazy. Seriously... I didn't know what I should do.

But this one whole week was not just work and work, we had tonnes of fun. Because during, this whole week we were so stressed out we have been doing so many goofy things. Half way through the assignment we actually dance... LOL.... YES! Dance...! We changed Beyonce's Irreplaceable lyrics from 'to the left, to the left' into 'to the right, to the right' and dance. Stupid but fun. Vivien was the funniest of all for there was one particular night while David was explaining something to us, she suddenly stood up and we were like (Huh? wot happened?) and she lean over the table and the next thing we knew she was poking David's "spare tyre"... we were like... errr... Vivien what are you doing?? (-_____-'') and she said she thought why David's shirt can move while he was talking and that movement turned out to be David's tummy and yes we were laughing so hard.

On Saturday, it was Siaw Chee's turn to do something funny. She found this red umbrella and she was so fascinated by it, she started dancing with it.... and David followed her too. The as she was dancing she sang “彩虹妹妹恩爱唉哟...(Rainbow sister is loving ai yo.....)" and she said... just dance and sing since nobody was watching us... and Vivien said... " errr.... Chee... there are cameras up there...Guards must be lookin at you at the monitor there" and she was like oh shoot! and quickly ran back to class. Really funny...

On Sunday, in order for us to finish our assignment we had to look for a place with wifi. Initially we were suppose to go over to E-Magic but it was close... so in the end we went to Starbucks, since currently Kuching's only Starbucks is located at the airport we had no choice but to go there. But soon we will have a second Starbucks located at The Spring Mall. Due to this assignment Swinburne has also become somewhat like my second home, I spend most of my time in Swinburne doing the assignment.

Chee and Vivien...very hardworking

Everyone has worked hard in for this assignment. Well everyone except me, cause there are times half-way through the assignment I will walk around and half way through the report I will surf the internet reading forums and blogs. My sincere apologies to my group member... but when I do these things usually it means:

1. I don't know what to do since, you guys are looking for info,
2. Surfing websites, while I was typing the report halfway means my mind is blank and am thinking. So I kinda surf websites to help me think.

But overall, I really appreciate all of you guys as my group members and you are such great friends. All the best for the finals and let us all work hard! Gambateh!
